2. Visiting the website

When you visit this website, our web server processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type). This is necessary to deliver the website and ensure its security (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Server log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest.

We do not use tracking or marketing cookies and do not embed content from third parties (fonts, maps, videos, social media plugins). A technically necessary session cookie is set for the order process and deleted when you close your browser (Section 25 (2) TDDDG). Your choice of package view is stored locally in your browser only.

2a. Web analytics with Matomo

To understand how our website is used, we use the open-source software Matomo. Matomo runs on our own server in Germany; no data is passed on to third parties. Matomo sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not create user profiles. Your IP address is shortened before it is stored, so it cannot be traced back to you.

We record the pages visited, time and duration of the visit, the referring page, device type, operating system and browser, and for an order the order number, selected plan and amount. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in statistical analysis and improving our service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). As no information is stored on or read from your device, no consent under Section 25 TDDDG is required.

You can object to this at any time. Your objection is then stored as a cookie in your browser:

3. Orders and contract processing

For an order we process your email address, the products selected, the billing details (name, address) you enter in the payment step, the time and IP address of the order including your consent to immediate performance, and the language you used. The legal basis is the performance of the contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR) and our statutory retention obligations (Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR in conjunction with Section 147 German Fiscal Code and Section 257 German Commercial Code – up to 10 years).

To provide the eSIM, we pass the technically necessary order data (product, quantity, order number) to our mobile wholesale partner, which generates the eSIM profile. Personal customer data such as your name or email address is not transmitted. When using the eSIM abroad, the respective network operators process connection data under their own responsibility.

4. Payment via Stripe

Card and wallet payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland. In the payment step you are redirected to a Stripe page, where Stripe processes your payment data, billing details, email address and device information to carry out the payment and prevent fraud (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR). We do not receive full card details. Stripe may also transfer data to the USA; Stripe is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More information: stripe.com/privacy.

4a. Payment via PayPal

If you choose PayPal, you are redirected to PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22–24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg. We transmit order number, product name and amount; after payment PayPal transmits your name, email address and country to us for invoicing and contract processing (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). More information: PayPal privacy statement.

5. Sending emails

We send you the eSIM and information about your order by email. Emails are sent via our email service Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd.) under a data processing agreement. We do not send you advertising without your express consent.

6. Hosting

This website is operated on our own servers in Germany.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR).
